Amalie Arena Parking Guide

Amalie Arena is home to the NHL’s Tampa Bay Lightning. The arena offers parking passes for full season, half season, or single game parking or you can score a deal at an off-site parking garage for less!

Tampa Bay Lightning Parking Passes

Full Season Parking Pass

• Port Garage
  • $16 per game ($688 per season + service and handling fees).
  • Located across the street from Sparkman Wharf at the Northeast corner of Channelside Dr and S 12th St.
  • .2 mile walk to Amalie Arena.
  • Suggested access for North or East of Downtown Tampa.
• Whiting Street Garage
  • $12 per game ($516 per season + service and handling fees).
  • Located off entry of S Morgan St at the southwest corner of E Whiting St and Morgan St.
  • Suggested access for North or East of Downtown Tampa.
  • Opens 1 hour and 45 minutes before puck drop.
  • Vehicles must be able to pass the 6’8″ clearance.
  • Motorcycles are not permitted in the Whiting Street Garage.
  • .3 mile walk to Amalie Arena.

Half Season Parking

Single Game Parking Pass

• Advance parking passes for the 2019-20 season can be purchased through Park Whiz.
• If you’re purchasing parking at the Arena, utilize the Park and Ride option. Get free rides from the TECO Line Streetcar to and from any station on the route. It will run 1 hour following the end of the game.
• Parking locations for Park and Ride:
  • Fort Brooke Garage – $12 per game | Streetline Station 11
  • Florida Aquarium Parking lot – $10 per game | Streetline Station 7
  • Fernando Noriega Palm Avenue Garage – $1.05 per hour | Streetline Station 7

Amalie Arena Parking FAQs

• Q: What time do Amalie Arena’s doors open?
• A: One hour before a Lightning game. Chase Club, VIP Lounge, and Executive Suite doors open 90 minutes before the start of the game.
• Q: Is there disable drop off?
• A: There’s a drop-off circle located on the North side of the Arena along Channelside Drive.
• Q: Can you re-enter the stadium after the game has begun?
• A: Re-entry is not permitted once hockey games or events have begun.

Public Transit to Amalie Arena

Coast Bike: Park your rentable Coast Bike or your own for free on the Ford Thunder Ally, across from the South Regional Parking Garage.

Cross Bay Ferry: Avoid congested traffic and take the Provincetown III to Amalie Arena. The ferry departs every day of the week except Monday. Book your trip!

Pirate Water Taxi: A convenient way to skip the traffic. There are a couple pick and drop-off locations: Amalie Arena/History Center Stop, behind the Tampa bay History Center and Channelside stop, behind the Yacht Starship dock. The Pirate Water Taxi will not operate during heavy rain, winds, or lightning.

Alert Cab Service: Alert Cab Service is available to guests who feel they should not be driving.

Amalie Arena Handicap Parking

Amalie Arena does not control parking in downtown Tampa. All lots surrounding the Arena offer disabled parking, with the most convenient being the Pam Lorio Parking Garage. It’s suggested that disabled guest enter through the Florida Avenue entrance.
