Getting to Kauffman Stadium
Click “Directions” in the top left corner of the map for the quickest route to Kauffman Stadium.
TRAFFIC ALERT: MoDOT Kansas City is making interchange improvements at I-435 and I-70 until December 2020. This work is accompanied by significant ramp closures. Plan your commute accordingly.
Tailgating at Kauffman Stadium
Tailgating is permitted in Lot N, Royal Way, and the Hall of Fame Village.
- Tailgating with groups of up to 20 people is allowed in lots.
- Groups of more than 20 people are required to reserve space and place a deposit.
- Catering is required for large groups through one of the Royals’ preferred catering partners.
- Alcoholic beverages are allowed but must be disposed of prior to entry to the stadium.
Public Transit to Kauffman Stadium
Bicycles Bicycles may enter through any gate and can be chained to the outside of the media fence at Lot B.
Bus The KCATA via the Metro’s 47-Broadway provides service to fans along Blue Ridge Cutoff and to Blue Ridge Crossing. Extended hours will allow fans to travel to the Truman Sports Complex for Kansas City Royals night games.
Kauffman Stadium Handicap Parking
Handicap spaces are available in all lots at Kauffman Stadium. The spaces are available on a first come, first-served bases and require a valid state-issued tag or license plate. Royals staff is present to assist fans, and shuttles to the stadium from the lots are all accessible.
Additionally, Kauffman Stadium allows for fan drop off through either Gates 3 or 4. Cars will be directed to Gate D to the drop off location.
