The PPG Paints Arena, formerly named the Consol Energy Center, is located in downtown Pittsburgh and serves as the home of the 2016 and 2017 Stanley Cup Champions, the Pittsburgh Penguins. Port Authority Light Rail Service
Port Authority’s light rail service – commonly known as the “T” – connects three Downtown stations with Station Square and the South Hills. Downtown stations are located at Steel Plaza, Wood Street and First Avenue, with Steel Plaza located closest to PPG Paints Arena, at Ross Street and 6th Avenue. Service within the Golden Triangle is free at all times.
