Staples Center Parking Guide

The Staples Center is home to the NBA’s Los Angeles Lakers and the Los Angeles Clippers, the NHL’s Los Angeles Kings, and the WNBA’s Los Angeles Sparks. Check out our complete guide for everything you need to know about Staples Center parking!

The Staples Center is a large, multi-purpose sports arena in downtown Los Angeles. The arena also hosts tons of concerts and events throughout the year. Whether you’re looking for a map of nearby parking garages, street parking tips, or information about how to reserve parking online ahead of time, we’ve got you covered!

Staples Center Parking Options

West Garage/Lot W, Gate B

$10-$30 depending on event attended.

Gate B opens 3 1/2 hrs before event time.

Recommended for an event lasting over 3 1/2 hrs.

East Garage/Lot E

$10: First 2 hrs

$10: Each additional 1/2 hr

$30 daily max

Valet/East Garage

$20: First 2 hrs

$10: Each additional 1/2 hr

$40 daily max

Staples Center Parking Map

There are around 3,300 official Staples Center parking spots, and about 10,000 spots in the surrounding area. Lot W (West Garage) and Lot E (East Garage) are open 6 AM- 2 AM daily.

Lot 1 and Lot C open 2.5 hours before the beginning of an event. All other lots open 1.5 hours before the beginning of the event.

Street Parking There is ample street parking in the area surrounding the Staples Center. Please be observant of meters and no parking/ tow away zones.

Tailgating at the Staples Center

Tailgating is strictly prohibited and enforced by the LAPD in any area. Local bars and restaurants are great to grab a bite to eat or drink before a game.

Staples Center Handicap Parking

Designated parking is available for guests with disabilities. These spaces are located in the West Garage, the East Garage, and Lots 4, 8, 9, and 10. All of these zones contain van-accessible spaces, and are designated for vehicles displaying a current state-issued disability placard or license plate. For more information, the Guest Services can explain the options for handicap parking to a deeper degree. Proof of California ADA registration may also be needed for such an interaction. Public Transportation to Staples Center

Metrolink

Metrolink operates in Southern California from Los Angeles, San Bernardino, Riverside, Ventura, Orange, and North San Diego Counties. Weekend passes can be purchased for $10 that includes free connections to rail lines and Metro buses. Learn more at Metrolink.

Metro Bus

All of Los Angeles is serviced by Metro Bus routes. Lines 30, 81, 439, 442, 460, and the Silver Line stop near L.A. LIVE. Learn more using the Metro Trip Planner.

DASH

Near L.A. LIVE, the DASH Bus Route F stops several times on Figueroa St. Learn more at LADOT Transit.

AMTRAK

AMTRAK train to Union State will get you to Downtown Los Angeles, where you then transfer to Metro Rail. Learn more at AMTRAK.
