Parking Options At Xcel Energy Center
The RiverCentre and Kellogg parking ramps are directly connected to the Xcel Energy Center complex. Parking at the RiverCentre can be reserved online ahead of time for select events via the Xcel Energy Center website. Reservations at this garage are not available for Minnesota Wild games. Tailgating at Xcel Energy Center
- Tailgating is not allowed on any parking ramps that are covered.
- Some third party surface lots allow tailgating – these typically advertise that they do.
- Sound-amplifying equipment is prohibited, as are wood-burning fires — tailgaters must prepare food on charcoal or propane grills.
- There are plenty of bars and restaurants as alternatives for pre-game fun.
Xcel Energy Center Handicap Parking
Convenient accessible parking is available at the RiverCentre Parking Ramp, which is adjacent to Xcel Energy Center. Guests using the RiverCentre Ramp can access Xcel Energy Center via the skyway, which is connected to Xcel Energy Center.
Another convenient option is the Kellogg Parking Ramp. Additional parking spots are available at surrounding ramps. Fans who require accessible parking must have a valid disabled parking tag or permit with a matching ID.
An accessible drop-off area is available and located at the southeast entrance (Gate 1) of Xcel Energy Center at 175 West Kellogg Boulevard. Please note that for many events this option is not available for pick-up as Kellogg Blvd. is closed for pedestrian traffic.
Public Transit to Xcel Energy Center
Xcel Energy Center is easily accessible from several Metro Transit Bus Lines servicing the downtown Saint Paul area. Metro Transit offers an online Trip Planner that allows travelers to create a custom personal schedule to travel by bus to Xcel Energy Center.
